Poetry/Short Story Things.

Ticked Off

Because in the grand scheme of things your time had no meaning,

nor does mine.

Just two entities syncing somewhere along the line.

Paused for a second,

Sharing a minute and a laugh.

But now you're gone.

Yours flew

Wild.

Free.

Fast.

And you left me here knowing mine could lead anywhere.

Well, it could.

Except back to the past.

Hubris Heart

You once blazoned my soul,

But you know what they say about moths to flame.

Gone before the smoke cleared,

They salvaged my cinders from the depths.

Greed still lit my eyes,

Haunting those who embraced these castaway embers.

Seek not the sun; Mortal love is the ash.

Fly close, fall fast.

Reflections

Raindrops pelt my bare skin,

Hair wild in the wind,

A voice in the dark calls to me,

I stop to stare back at thee.

A reflection mirrors in the glass,

My heart it paces awfully fast,

I don't recognize who I see,

But her eyes hold a troubling serenity.

The Thought of You Excited Me

So go ahead,

Add my face to your wall of uninhabited bodies.

I am looking for someone willing to take off their coat,

As my shoulders have been bare for months.

Short Poem Untitled

Had a dream last night I went for a drive,
Windows down never felt more alive,
Then I awoke to a bed of just me,
And my heart asked my head how it felt to be set free.

SHE SAT AT THE TABLE

She sat at the table. She got there early to ensure she’d be the first person in the room. She scanned the long table and chose a chair facing the door, about halfway down from the projection screen in the front. She fidgeted in the swiveling chair, which had turned out to be much more comfortable than she expected. The large clock on the dull wall behind her ticked, adding to her suspense. She opened her notepad, lined up her pens, flipped her hair over her shoulder, and waited.

Design & Photography Things.

Video Things.

This Doritos commercial was designed for my Super Bowl Advertising class. Unfortunately my group chose the creative concept without me, but I did my best to try and make their idea come to life. The project required a :30 commercial.
